Head of Americas, Continental Europe (ex France) and Global Custom Research Gabriel Alsina heads ISS Global Custom Research (since November 2020), ISS Americas Research (since 2016) and also ISS’s Research teams covering most of Continental Europe (since 2011). Gabriel has expertise and a strong track record in managing global and diverse teams, and oversees research teams in these functions across the world, in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
With extensive corporate governance and stewardship knowledge across many global jurisdictions, Gabriel is a regular speaker with external groups in the Americas and in Europe. In past roles he was also a contributor and author of several white papers and pan-European reports, including the Report on the Proportionality Principle in the European Union (2006) and Study on Monitoring and Enforcement Practices in Corporate Governance in the Member States (2009). Gabriel has a Master’s in Political Science, Public Administration (Governance) from the University of Rome.
