Henri Giraud
Head of Corporate legal affairs, Atos
Henri Giraud is Head of Legal Corporate Affairs at Atos SE, a global leader in digital transformation with 112,000 employees and annual revenue of c. € 11 billion, listed on Euronext Paris and included in the CAC 40 ESG and Next 20 indexes. Mr. Giraud has over twenty years of experience in corporate law and corporate governance. He began his career in 2001 as an attorney specializing in securities law and mergers & acquisitions at the French law firm Moquet Borde & Associes, which merged with the law firm Paul Hastings in 2004. From 2006 to 2009 he practiced capital markets as senior associate in the Corporate department of Clifford Chance in Paris. Moving in-house in 2009, Mr. Giraud served for almost three years at Veolia Environnement, the French leader in environmental utilities listed in the CAC40, as senior lawyer dedicated to the corporate governance and “multi-service” companies. Mr. Giraud then joined Atos SE as Head of Legal Corporate Affairs where he has notably been serving the Board governance for the last 10 years, acting as secretary to the Audit Committee, and supporting several transformations such as the carve-out and IPO of Worldline and the operational launch of Atos’ raison d’être. From 2021, Mr. Giraud gives a lecture on senior executive compensation in listed companies in a law master program at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. Mr. Giraud was registered with the Paris bar, and he graduated from Paris-Dauphine University with a master degree in business law, and from ‘Sciences Po’ with its graduate degree having opted for Economics and Finance.
